
Mission Accomplished!
The "Abrele la Puerta a
Veronica Fair" was a great
success!
The fair was presented in part
by Latinos en Accion de Waltham,
The Mayor Jeannette McArthy, The
Office of the Census 2010 in
Boston, the Waltham Police
Department and Orale! Con
Veronica TV Show.
This campaign came about as a
way to celebrate the 7th
anniversary of the TV show Orale!
Con Veronica.
For the last 7 years Orale! Con
Veronica has proven to be
successful on fulfilling its
mission of informing, educating
and entertaining Latinos in New
England. The show airs on
Telemundo every Saturday at 10
a.m.
Veronica
Robles and members of Latinos en
Accion of Waltham gave away 20
boxes with turkeys and other
ingredients to prepare for
Thanksgiving dinner. The boxes
were given to 20 families in
need.
The food was donated by Becton
and Dickinson, Alberto
Landscaping of Marlborough,
Latinos Market, Waltham Despensa
Familiar Market and members of
the community.

The The event included
participation of several
organizations as well as provide
information to local residents.
Among these
organizations were: Healthy
Waltham, Joseph Smith CHC, BCBS
Waltham Fields, Community,
WATCH, The Power Program,
Waltham Family School & Healthy
Waltham, R.E.A.C.H. Department
of Public Health, Waltham Police
Department, Waltham Fire
Station, Hannaford Super Market,
WIC Office, Waltham Boys and
Girls Club, and St Mary's
Church.
There was also a showcase of
local professional and amateur
talent such as Inkas Wasi and
dancers Teresa Stagnaro and
Miguel Bernal, performing music
and dance from Perú, Veronica
Robles Mariachi, duet Versatile,
Gorila Records and Rosanne Rebot.
The clown Azucarin keep children
busy and D.J. Santos and Jose
Barron played some background
music.
